Safe Management Measures for Exhibitions

 

The Singapore Clay Festival is committed to presenting its exhibitions in an environment that is safe for everyone. We will observe the Government’s prevailing safety guidelines and management measures.

 

Entry to our Festival’s exhibitions (namely the Clay Makers’ Market, ‘Shaping Clay’, ‘Singapore Clay Heritage’, ‘Red’) are by pre-registration for time slots through our website www.singaporeclayfest.com only.

 

We welcome 30 visitors per time slot.

 

Our Festival Exhibition Hours are:

Thurs 25 Nov, Fri 26 Nov, Sat 27 Nov, Sun 28 Nov: 10 am - 9 pm daily

Mon 29 Nov: 10 am – 6 pm

 

Time Slots daily:

  1. 10 am – 11.30 am

  2. 12 pm – 1.30 pm

  3. 2 pm – 3.30 pm

  4. 4 pm – 5.30 pm

  5. 6 pm – 7.15 pm

  6. 7.45 pm – 9 pm

 

On Mon 29 Nov, the last time slot is 4 pm – 6 pm.

 

The point of entry to the Festival is at the Clay Makers’ Market. The suggested route of visit is as follows: Clay Makers’ Market > ’Shaping Clay’ exhibition > ‘Singapore Clay Heritage’ and ‘Red’ exhibitions.

 

At the point of entry, visitors will be asked to show their proof of pre-registration for that time slot.

 

Walk-in visitors are only allowed if there are vacancies for that time slot. They are to pre-register on the spot for that time slot through our website before they would be allowed entry.

 

Visitors are required to check in and check out of the Singapore Clay Festival using the TraceTogether token or application only. We will be observing Vaccination-Differentiated safe entry. Visitors are allowed entry in group sizes of up to 5 people if all are fully vaccinated. Children aged 12 and below, recovered individuals and unvaccinated individuals with negative results in antigen rapid test (taken no more than 24 hours prior to scanning in) can be a part of those 5 people. If there is more than one child aged 12 years and below in the group of 5 people, all children must be from the same household.

 

By scanning in, the person declares that he:

  • is not currently under a quarantine order, leave of absence from an employer or school, or stay-home notice;

  • has not been in close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case in the past 14 days;

  • has no reason to suspect that he might have been in contact with any infected persons; and

  • does not have any fever or flu-like symptoms.

 

Visitors must observe the following:

  • safe distancing for queue at point of entry and at every exhibition;

  • sanitise their hands upon entering and leaving each exhibition (namely the Clay Makers’ Market, ‘Shaping Clay’, ‘Singapore Clay Heritage’, ‘Red’);

  • keep masked at all times; and

  • practise safe distancing: to keep to groups of no more than 5 people each. Groups must be at least 1 metre apart. There must be no physical interaction or intermingling with other groups.

The Festival reserves the right to deny entry to anyone not observing one or all of the above.

 

  • Visitors are requested to keep their visit within the time slot they registered for.

 

  • The Festival team will disinfect Festival Venue between time slots.

Safe Management Measures for Workshops, Masterclasses and Keynote Talk

 

The Singapore Clay Festival is committed to presenting its workshops, masterclasses and keynote talk in an environment that is safe for everyone. We will observe the Government’s prevailing safety guidelines and management measures.

 

Entry to workshops, masterclasses and keynote talk are strictly by pre-registration and pre-purchased participation tickets. Walk-ins are not allowed.

 

Parents or guardians bringing children to workshops will be required to register their contact details for contact tracing purposes.

The maximum capacity (excluding facilitator(s)) for each activity is as follows.

·       Adult workshop: 10

·       Children workshop: 5

·       Masterclass: 10

·       Keynote talk: 24

 

Workshops, masterclasses and keynote talk are subject to cancellation because of prevailing Covid-19 precautions. Participants will be informed of any cancellation as soon as this decision becomes necessary, and will be refunded their ticket price.

Participants, parents or guardians are required to check in and check out of the Singapore Clay Festival using the TraceTogether token or application only. We will be observing Vaccination-Differentiated safe entry and will only admit a person who is either fully vaccinated or has tested negative for Covid-19 in an antigen rapid test taken no more than 24 hours prior to scanning in at the Festival.

Within the classroom, tables will be laid out observing safe distancing rules.

All equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and/or disinfected before they are being handled or used by others.

All surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and/or disinfected between sessions.
